Michaela grew up in Cadillac, MI as a “horse-crazy girl.” Getting her first horse was where she first learned responsibility and a good work ethic. She first learned basic bookkeeping skills when she got her first checking account at 15; her dad warned her that she would be in “big trouble” if she ever bounced a check, and Michaela took him seriously. She still has never bounced a check to this day! Her parents taught her to honor her word, to show up when she says she will, and to do everything with integrity.
She attended Rhema Bible College in Oklahoma where she met her husband, Chris. After they were married they moved to the Pittsburgh, PA area. That’s where Michaela first began working with QuickBooks software. The family remained in Pittsburgh until 2022 when they relocated to Michigan with their two sons and American Bulldog. In her free time you will find Michaela baking, spending time with her family, or serving at her church.
